"Travelin' Band" is a song written by John Fogerty and originally recorded by Creedence Clearwater Revival. It was included on their album Cosmo's with "Who'll Stop the Rain", it was one of three double sided singles from that album to reach the top five on the U.S. Pop Singles Chart and the first of two to reach the number 2 spot on the American charts, alongside "Lookin A-side: "Who'll Stop the Rain".

Throughout and into , CCR toured incessantly and recorded nearly as much. Appropriately, Cosmo's Factory's first single was the working band's anthem "Travelin' Band," a funny, piledriving rocker with a blaring horn section -- the first indication their sonic palette was broadening. Two more singles appeared prior to the album's release, backed by John Fogerty originals that rivaled.

  1. "Cosmos Factory" is my first introduction to the band. I listened "Ramble Tamble" for the first time in a bar, late at night. A strong opening for a consistent album, the John Fogerty vocals, the warm RCA sound of my brazilian copy, and the instrumental background gave you one of the best classic rock experience or introduction to the genre.
